Meet Brett Croft CFP®, CFA®, CTFA
Brett is an advice-only financial planner and educator dedicated to empowering DIY investors on their path to financial independence. He provides personalized, fiduciary guidance to clients in New Hampshire and nationwide, drawing on more than 15 years of experience in financial advice and planning.

Brett takes pride in his client-centered approach: he listens attentively to understand each individual's goals, circumstances, and concerns; educates thoroughly so clients can make informed decisions with confidence; and delivers meticulous, detail-oriented analysis to craft precise, tailored strategies.

Inspired by the highly regarded Nevada Public Employees' Retirement System (PERS) investment model, Brett advocates for a straightforward, low-cost philosophy that emphasizes intelligent asset allocation, broad diversification, consistent exposure to capital markets, disciplined rebalancing, and keeping complexity — and fees — to a minimum. This approach, which has delivered strong long-term results with controlled risk for one of the nation's top-performing public pensions, informs his recommendations for individual investors. He particularly assists clients in thoughtfully incorporating alternatives (such as private equity, real estate, or other non-traditional assets) when they align with goals, risk tolerance, and the need for enhanced diversification or potential returns — always with a focus on prudence and simplicity.

Brett's analytical mindset stems from his engineering background, where he earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Engineering, along with an MBA. This foundation in problem-solving and precision shapes his methodical, evidence-based approach to financial planning.
Outside of work, Brett enjoys outdoor adventures with his wife of 30 years and their two grown children.

Brett holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®), and Certified Trust Financial Advisor (CTFA) designations.
